Floyd Bennett Field is an old airport that used to be used as a commercial and military aviation. Its located in Marine Park, Brooklyn, NY, on Barren Island.While diving in you can spot various sea creatures such as horseshoe crabs, spider crabs, hermit crabs and sea robins. There are also very interestingly strange objects such as bullets and rugs that can be found on the sea floor.
There are 5 main dive sites in Floyd Bennett Field: Droid Flats (or as we call it “Tick-land), West Seaplane Ramp, East Seaplane Ramp and Raptor Point.
